Dear all,
Late with this but I asked our HPC Administrator about this as he recently
went thru replacing HPC PDUs. He said,
> From our experience we have had a lot of the control bit die and go
> wrong in the APC units AP8953 and this bit cannot be replaced separately
> so a whole new expensive PDU is needed.
Not recommended then!

This is good for us as we have racks of LCG WN where the power is not, as
he says, necessarily a 50/50 draw from each PDU. So if one PDU goes a
little over 16A, the whole thing doesn't kablooey.
