(with apologies for cross-posting)
Dear colleagues,
We are carrying out research (funded by the Leverhulme trust/British Academy) into the impact of workload management practices in UK universities on academic staff’s wellbeing and attitudes. As part of this project we are collecting survey data from UK academics whose workload is allocated and managed through some kind of formal process. These processes are common in UK universities – often based on time, points, or budget which are allocated to teaching, research and administrative duties to distribute workload amongst academic staff.
If this applies to you, could you please spare 5-10 minutes of your time to complete a survey, which can be accessed here (along with details of confidentiality and data security): https://erasmusuniversity.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2sqv3IalBGZJ9iZ
We will be carrying out a follow-up survey in one month and for each survey completed participants will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £100 vouchers, and will also be offered a summary of our findings.
We would also be grateful if you could share this with your colleagues.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Best wishes,
Dr Rebecca Hewett
