There is currently a vacancy for an exciting new post at University College London (UCL).
The post is based in the UCL Office of the Vice-Provost (Research) (OVPR) Which delivers the UCL Research Strategy. The OVPR has six broad areas of activity: research coordination and planning, cross disciplinary development, including Grand Challenges programme, research integrity and evaluation; the Doctoral School, research impact and research policy development.
The OVPR is seeking to appoint a Research Metrics and Evaluation Support Officer to support a wide range of activities within the areas of research evaluation and research metrics. This new post will support and develop a variety of quantitative information sources linked to research funding, publications and related metrics for various purposes. The post holder is expected to maintain responsibility for institutional use of research metrics tools and research information systems, and to coordinate the annual reporting cycles for research outcomes through the Researchfish portal. A key aspect of this role is to develop and deliver programmes of training relating to research metrics, providing advice and support to the UCL community.
The post is full time in the salary range £34,635 - £41,864 per annum including London allowance. The closing date for applications is 28 Jan 2018.
