The Institute for Transport Studies (IVe) at the University of Natural Resources an Life Sciences (BOKU) Vienna is looking for a part-time (20h/week) postdoctoral research associate to establish a research area with focus on System Dynamics Modelling in transport, while at the same time building a strong link to already established research activities at the institute.
The responsibilities of the research associate are to carry out scientific research, be active in the acquisition of third party funding and to contribute to teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The applicant is expected to have a doctoral degree and a strong track record in the field of system dynamics modelling in infrastructure planning and policy, preferably in transport. A strong publication record and proven potential for independent and collaborative research in an interdisciplinary setting, and prior experience in teaching are required. Excellent English and German language skills are advantageous.
