Social Media and Content Strategist
J D Healthcare is a national fertility-focussed healthcare group with a variety of interrelated businesses providing complementary services under numerous brands. We are seeking a Social Media and Content Strategist to lead our social media efforts and provide content across all our businesses. This is an exciting and ambitious role in a fast-growing marketing-driven business with international ambitions.
J D Healthcare comprises:
• London Women’s Clinic: A mid-market national chain of fertility clinics which provides a range of high quality treatments at competitive prices.
• The Bridge Centre: A London-based fertility clinic specialising in genetic testing the treatment of older women and difficult cases.
• London Sperm Bank: The UK’s largest sperm bank (expanding internationally), which provides donor sperm to around two thirds of UK clinics.
• London Egg Bank: Offering egg freezing and egg donation services.
• London Ultrasound Centre: An ultrasound and diagnostic services centre.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all social media platforms for all businesses.
• Create and direct social media strategy and ensure that it aligns with overall brand communication strategy.
• Create and distribute exciting and engaging copy and content for all companies.
• Create a content plan in conjunction with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure that social media activity is coordinated within the wider marketing team/calendar.
• Grow online communities, bolster engagement/goodwill across social media platforms.
• Promptly engage with any communications or enquiries that come via social media.
• Establish social media monitoring tools to help continuously improve our strategy.
• Write and post relevant and engaging blog posts for each company, and proliferate them across social media platforms.
• Create other content as required (when working with partners, third parties, influencers).
• Develop, draft and distribute e-newsletters in conjunction with relevant departments for patients across each company. Participate in and initiate other customer relationship management tools.
• Create and distribute internal monthly newsletters.
Required Skills / Qualifications
• 3+ years’ experience of social media marketing.
• Experience managing Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.
• Experience with / knowledge of social management, listening and performance tools.
• Excellent writing skills, and the ability to create engaging, platform-specific content.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of SEO, tracking, analytics and other digital marketing skills.
• Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to thrive in a non-hierarchical environment.
• Must have a client-centric approach and a passion to help people.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
• Knowledge of / past experience working in the fertility field and industry would be a bonus, but not necessary. Quick learners more than welcome to apply.
• Science writing experience.
• Experience working in a strictly regulated environment.
• Experience writing press releases and dealing with the media.
