Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Department: Center for Migration and Refugee Studies (CMRS)
Reporting to: CMRS’s Projects Manager
Duration: December 25, 2017 - April 30th, 2018
Purpose of the Post
The purpose of the post is to coordinate the logistical needs of the trainings conducted for staff of the Egyptian ministries in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the university regarding room bookings and security passes
- Liaise with instructors to gather course outlines, material, etc
- Prepare course material for distribution among participants
- Keep track of participants’ contacts/ attendance
- Keep track of budget
- Prepare training rooms based on instructor’s needs
- Collect and analyze pre and post evaluation forms
- Work closely with the project Manager in correcting and analyzing the exams
- Report on number of trainings conducted and update budget monthly
- Issue payments for instructors
- Communicate with catering service
- Follow up with instructors on time and dates of trainings
- Attend training to ensure all activities are implemented smoothly
Job Requirements
- MA in social science preferably in Migration and Refugee Studies
- Demonstrate Strong knowledge of migration and refugee studies particularly concerning the MENA region
- 5-6 years of experience in similar jobs
- Previous experience working with the Egyptian government and International organization is a plus
- Excellent administrative and coordination skills and ability to work under stress
- Fluency in both the Arabic and English languages (written and spoken)
