Dear Colleagues:
Based on twenty years of research with traditional Mexican coppersmiths, I
am just beginning a related research project on traditional metal-smiths in
Europe and the Middle East.
Specifically, I am looking for any links to scholars working in this area,
ethnographic writings and other specialized readings, or recommendations on:
1) Romani coppersmiths, tinsmiths or blacksmiths, and;
2) Syrian and Yemenite Jewish Metalsmiths in Israel/Palestine.
Thank you for any references and best holiday wishes!
Sincerely,
Michele A. Feder-Nadoff, Ph.D.
