We have recently launched an ethnographic blog which looks to interrogate everyday inequalities in the UK. It aims to put a spotlight on the often unobserved, mundane, everyday ordinariness of people's unequal experience of comfort, wealth, and power, and explores the different ways in which people attempt to cope with or resist these inequalities.
The blog addresses a wide variety of spaces where inequality is seen, from employment programmes and health services, to community centres and social movements. Whilst many of these spaces contain people and organisations who attempt to resist inequality, we aim to interrogate where these attempts have potential to succeed and where they reproduce many of the discourses and practices which create inequality in the UK.
We are looking for guest contributors so if you have any ideas get in touch with either Alfonso Del Percio ([log in to unmask]) or Hannah Cowan ([log in to unmask]).
