What formats are the open source audio guides currently using?
From a programming point of view XML is as easy to parse as JSON,
since [other people] have already written libraries to handle the
complex stuff.
For the others there are converters between XML and JSON schemas that
are/should be good enough for simple jobs like TourML. e.g.

Converting into JSON feed would only be a benefit if the newer audio
guides use that format but, as I'm someone new to the field, I don't
know what that would be.
