Young minds, Doug. Thanks Andrew, Pat. Just a rattle-off. Performed a poem
at a poetry slam last Saturday in a country town called Mollongghip. Small
hall, 32 poets, each judged by a panel of 3 immediately after the
rendition. Bar closed during readings. My poem on Daylesford had already
been run by poetryetc with a couple of adaptations to make it fit with the
required theme: Made in Heaven. So I was a bit short this week, despite
much politicking and sport abounding in Australia. My poem led the field
until half time after which they wheeled out local rhymester heavyweights
who scooped the pool.
