italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to ask if you could recommend an Italian language book for total beginners (Secondary school level, age range: 12-15).
Ideally we are looking for a gradual teaching/learning style. So far, all the options we have considered proceed according to units (introductions, greetings, etc…) however, they also include extremely challenging vocabulary, irregular verbs in the first units without any contextualisation which would be difficult to deal with as a first approach to the Italian language by 12-13 years olds who have no previous knowledge of Italian.
Any help/advise/tip is appreciated.
Many thanks
Dr. Christian Moretti
