Vacancy: Records Management Assistant, Roman Catholic Diocese of Southwark
Location: Diocesan Finance Office
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Southwark is looking to recruit a Records Management Assistant to
assist the Diocesan Finance Office in reviewing and processing its large accumulation of paper
records. In addition the role will work with the Diocesan Archivist to develop records management
guidance and procedures for the Finance Office to help with the management of its paper and
electronic records and to prepare for GDPR. The ideal candidate will have a good undergraduate
degree and previous experience of working within an archive or records management service.
He/she will also have excellent IT skills, a good understanding of GDPR requirements and an
understanding of records management principles.
The job will be offered initially on a fixed term
contract of 6 months and we will consider part time (minimum of 3 days per week) or full time.
