For those of you interested in pursuing a PhD in developmental neuroscience and neuroimaging (or who have trainees that are), there are at least seven different possible projects being advertised currently at King’s College London. These are part of the well-supported 4 year MRC and BRC doctoral training programmes.
The projects cover the neonatal, infant and early childhood periods and will incorporate state-of-the-art MR image acquisition and analysis developed, in part, through the developing Human Connectome Project.
Applied projects incorporate autism (McAlonan), prematurity (Counsell), epilepsy (O’Muircheartaigh), typical brain development of function (Arichi), diffusion (Deprez) as well machine learning (Robinson). Applications are due by November 26th (MRC) and December 6th (BRC). We would encourage interested candidates to contact prospective supervisors sooner rather than later.
