Dear Mark,
Thanks a lot for your explanation! Unfortunately, based on your response I am still not sure why the volumes differ. For example for some scan I get:
Output of 'smoothest -z stats/zstat1 -m mask':
DLH 0.0672294
VOLUME 172819
RESELS 68.6703
FWHMvoxel 4.11247 4.11247 4.11247
FWHMmm 8.22494 8.64015 7.73045
Output of 'smoothest -d 96 -m mask -r stats/res4d':
DLH 0.178803
VOLUME 167470
RESELS 25.9454
FWHMvoxel 3.03161 3.03161 3.03161
FWHMmm 6.06322 6.30611 5.42858
I know the difference in volumes is small, but in both cases I would expect 'VOLUME' to be equal to the number of positive voxels in 'mask.nii'. Besides, is there some place I can learn more details about the smoothness estimate calculation? In FEAT's user guide 'res4d' is not mentioned.
Best wishes,
Wiktor Olszowy
