Pride in Plymouth welcomes applications for a self-employed Project Manager for the Heritage Lottery funded project Lesbian Voices of Plymouth- Past and Present.
This freelance contract will be over a fixed term of 30 months starting from November 2017 and ending in May 2020. The fee of £30000.00 comprises of 1950 hours work over this period (at a rate of approx. £15.38), including any VAT payable.
The project aims to capture the voices and lived experience of lesbians who have lived, worked or spent time in Plymouth to complement the existing Plymouth LGBT Archive. Through a series of workshops and events, they will have opportunity to tell their own stories. The project manager will facilitate all aspects of the delivery of this project.
The consultant will be required to be very flexible in terms of availability. Due to the nature the project, there will be non-negotiable periods of intense work and equally periods of relatively low intensity. The role will not be possible to be completed on set days or times of each week nor set number of hours per month and will involve weekend and evening hours. Payments will be made monthly in arrears on presentation of a satisfactory financial and activity progress reports and timesheets to the company directors.
The directors reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time with one month’s notice is the consultant is unable to adhere to the project plan.
