Hello all,
It's time for a spooktacular look at the tricky tickets plaguing us this
week... okay, I'll stop with the Halloween puns (tickets are scary
enough without them).
Only 19 Tickets in the UK this week - just a few highlights.
LHCB Tickets
https://ggus.eu/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=131107 (Glasgow)
https://ggus.eu/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=130787 (Cambridge)
LHCB only have two tickets in the UK - but both are needing input from
the VO. In the case of the Glasgow ticket it's to see if the problems
persist a week later, for the Cambridge ticket it's to provide feedback
to John.
Xroot of All Evil
A couple of UK tickets this week highlighted some xroot oddness.

I brought up this atlas ticket out of interest as it documents a problem
Glasgow have been seeing being, the root cause being too many xroot
connections to a server. As was mentioned in an atlas meeting last week
this could be worrying xroot behaviour.
https://ggus.eu/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=131328 (RALPP and Bristol)
This CMS ticket discusses some xroot authentication behaviour. There's
some good snippets for anyone doing something exciting with xroot
redirectors.
A Ticket that Fixed Itself?
https://ggus.eu/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=130264 (28/8)
The last update on this biomed arc publishing ticket notes how the
publishing seems to be magically working again. Did you do something
Chris? It might be relevant to Brunel's ticket (130263) if you did! In
progress (27/10)
And I think that's it for this week!
Cheers all,
Matt
