Dear colleagues,
--please accept my apologies for cross-posting--

!! Deadline for abstract submission: October 8 !!
!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
This is the final call for participation of the bi-annual user meeting of the FELIX laboratory at Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, that will take place November 1-3.
The FELIX laboratory is home to several IR free-electron lasers, spanning the 2.7-1500 micron (0.25-120 THz or 6-3600 cm-1) spectral range. Research where this radiation is applied encompasses widely varying fields ranging from ion-chemistry, condensed matter physics to astrochemistry. The meeting aims to join researchers who currently make use of the laboratory’s infrastructure with those interested in new developments in the infrared and THz domain, as well as other related fields, and is open to all interested.
The meeting will be held on Radboud University’s campus from Wednesday, November 1 (lunch time arrival) until Friday, November 3 (lunch time departure). We aim to have a stimulating scientific program with oral and poster presentations by local groups and external users, as well as from scientists working in closely related fields. There will also be ample time for lab tours and discussion sessions for user feedback and exchange.
The list of invited speakers includes:
Lutgarde Buydens (Radboud University, Nijmegen)
Peter Christianen (Radboud University, Nijmegen)
Herma Cuppen (Radboud University, Nijmegen)
Ralph Ernstdorfer (Fritz Haber Institute, Berlin)
Tobias Lau (Helmholtz-Zentrum, Berlin)
Dwayne Miller (Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Hamburg)
Hans van Tol (National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Tallahassee)
Stefan Vajda (Argonne National Laboratory)
Ron Wevers (Radboud University, Nijmegen)
Further oral contributions will be selected from submitted conference abstracts.
Participation is free of charge but registration is obligatory. Registration and abstract submission can be done at:
