Thanks a lot for your reply! So now I use the function 'smoothest' rather than my previous approximations, but I am not sure whether the 'smoothest' function should be applied to 'stats/zstat1' or to 'stats/res4d'. The 'cluster' function should be applied to 'stats/zstat1', I believe. However, now I see that the values in the 'smoothness' file after running a FEAT analysis refer to 'res4d' (even 'VOLUME'!). Now I do not do MNI registration.
Output of 'smoothest -z stats/zstat1 -m mask':
DLH 0.0672294
VOLUME 172819
RESELS 68.6703
FWHMvoxel 4.11247 4.11247 4.11247
FWHMmm 8.22494 8.64015 7.73045
Output of 'smoothest -d 96 -m mask -r stats/res4d':
DLH 0.178803
VOLUME 167470
RESELS 25.9454
FWHMvoxel 3.03161 3.03161 3.03161
FWHMmm 6.06322 6.30611 5.42858
The latter output is equal to the output from the usual 'FEAT' analysis. Which 'DLH' and 'VOLUME' values should I take for the 'cluster' function run on 'zstat1'?
