Apologies for cross-postings

I just wanted to flag up two London based GeoHumanities events on 2nd November that might be of interest to those working on ideas of extinction, wildness, multispecies justice and environmental humanities.

1) Extinction and Multi-species Justice Reading Group with Ursula Heise (UCLA) Franklin Ginn (University of Bristol) Dominic Walker (RHUL).

1-3 pm Nov 2, Alumni room, 11 Bedford Square.

Further information and the readings are available on the website of the Royal Holloway Centre for the GeoHumanities www.geohumanitiesforum.org

Please do get in touch with me on [log in to unmask] if you need any further information

The reading group will be followed by a lecture

2) "Where the wild things used to be: Narrative, biodiversity, and multispecies justice”, Ursula Heise (UCLA) with a response from Franklin Ginn (University of Bristol)

2nd November, 5pm onwards, Dana Centre Science Museum. This event celebrates the launch of the Humanities and Arts Research Institute

For further information and to book (essential) please go to: https://tinyurl.com/hari-launch

If you have any questions please do get in touch with me

best wishes

Harriet
