Dear Ian,
Thank you for the interviews, especially the one with Round Table India s
founder-editor Kuffir Nalgundwar. Its always refreshing to listen to
Kuffir. I also liked the kind of questions that were raised.
Just a thought about the title of the podcast and the e-mail - Dalit Online
Media; my understanding of a platform like Round Table India is that they
are anti-caste in their philosophy and may not identify only as a Dalit
space. Rather they break away from that kind of exclusivity. As Kuffir
Nalgundwar mentioned in this interview also that caste doesn't only mean
Dalit or Untouchability and it includes everyone who is a part of the caste
society. Thus it feels a little inadequate reading the title especially
when the interviewee himself takes a different stand on such kind of
identification.
best,
pushpendra
