Hi Janine,
Thanks for that reply -- resolved nearly all of my issues.
However, I am still a little bit unclear about how to properly run a dual_regression analysis, and what this analysis will provide me in terms of my group comparison. Below is my most recent attempt:
for i in 1 2 3 4 6 8 9 o1 o2 o3 o5 o6 o8 o9 ; do dual_regression Melodic_09-13-17/groupICA_40/melodic_IC.nii.gz 1 Melodic_09-13-17/design.mat Melodic_09-13-17/design.con 500 dual_regression_09-14-17 applywarp_09-13-17/p${i}/p${i}filtered_func_data_clean_standard.nii.gz ; done
A couple points of confusion I have are:
1) which output files I should expect -- appears all outputs are present (those listed in the dual_regression wiki) with the exception of stage 3.
2) GLM set-up: in this case, my design was unpaired-two group difference (pre- and post-). However, I think this may be incorrect, and I am re-attempting with a paired-two group difference design now.
3) what the outputs of dual regression will actually show me. I would like to see if there are differences between the mean resting state activations of pre- and post- op patients, and I am not sure which outputs will provide this information.
4) Are there any tweaks for the above dual_regression inputs that will boost my significance, or increase the likelihood of seeing a difference between the two groups, given my small number of patients?
Thanks
