Normally when public authorities undertake a public consultation, a number of fairly standard paragraphs are inserted re publishing consultation responses and a clause re DPA / FOI / EIR. The report once issued normally includes the name and contact details for any organisation and also the name and contact details of an individual who respond to the consultation.
While I understand the weight added to a named response, is the disclosure of name and contact details proportionate? Can anyone steer me in the direction of any specific government guidance re same?
Can I also ask if the names of objectors to any planning applications are published in England? and if so - is it part of Planning Law or associated Planning guidance?
