Hi Susan! (Remember me from a long-ago SUNY Cortland conference panel a few years before you wrote 20th Century Magus?) Re: "I have always has a hunch that Yeats had some hand in writing some of the GD rituals, but I have no proof to support that hunch." The original Outer Order rituals were certainly NOT written in conjunction with Yeats, as they predate his acquaintance with Mathers. However, the papers in the NLI clearly show that he had a hand in RE-writing those rituals for the Stella Matutina. Mostly, though, while the substance remains the same, the tone is slightly different, and the original emphasis on gaining occult knowledge etc. is downplayed. Did he have a hand in creating the Inner Order Rituals with Mathers and later Felkin? That is another question entirely. :-) My two cents.
