Dear All
Following on from last years’ successful event, we will again be holding a special session at the 2018 UTSG Annual Conference for early career researchers to present their work in its early stages of development.
The early researcher seminar aims to provide PhD/MPhil candidates in the 1st or 2nd years with an opportunity to present and discuss their work and ideas with many academics and other PhD candidates. It is not necessary to present results or a complete piece of the research at the early researcher seminar. You can just share initial thoughts to get suggestions and comments from your peers and senior researchers. Six presentations will be selected and each PhD candidate has up to 10 minutes to introduce his or her research and 5 minutes for discussion.
If you wish your paper to be considered for this special early career researcher session please submit you abstract in the normal way via this link: http://www.utsg.net/confmgt/openconf.php and tick ‘Early career researcher’ in the list of Topic Areas.
Best wishes
Jiping Fang
