Dear Stephane,
I used the Automatic Registration Toolbox downloaded from here: https://www.nitrc.org/projects/art. After following the installation instructions it is simply run by using the command line "acpcdetect -M -I <input file> -o <output file>". This should translate and rotate the head so that the AC/PC line will be in a sagittal plane and set the origin to the midpoint between AC and PC.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Falk

Betreff: [SPM] Set AC/PC line automatically on T1
Dear SPM experts,
I am working on a large T1-weighted dataset of over 600 participants aged 9-18 years and would like to automatically set the AC/PC line as origin before segmenting the scans for a VBM analysis. As suggested by Marko Wilke in a different post, I tried the 'Set origin using centre of mass' option from VBM8, but it did not do a great job unfortunately.
I have tried to use the Automatic Registration Toolbox described in this paper https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2674131/ by Ardekani and Bachman (2009), but cannot open the SimuLink Model file to run it...
I would appreciate any suggestions of toolbox or script that could do the job. Thank you.
Stephane
