Experience: PhD in a relevant field plus 4 years experience with good
knowledge of the climate science landscape. Knowledge of Earth observation
is desirable but not essential.
Why? Seems unnecessarily restrictive. Wellcome’s director of comms has a history degree and (I’m guessing) many/most of our comms team don’t have science backgrounds; of those that do, very few have a PhD.
Genuinely just interested as to why you think these criteria will get you the best candidate?
