We are conducting a review of referencing guidance being provided by the Library. We advocated a few years ago the use of a standardized author-date style guide, which is being updated by us at the library. However, it is growing in complexity, it’s becoming difficult to maintain and different Schools want to use their own style. It will be very helpful for us if you could let us know what approach to referencing is followed at your library, for example: Does the Library lead on referencing? Do you maintain the University’s style guide? What training/ support is being offered to students by your library?
