Dear all
With apologies for cross-posting.
This survey is aimed at those who are currently, or who have been, an academic librarian involved in teaching or facilitating information literacy workshops in some way. The purpose of this work is to critically assess the extent to which pedagogical methods and information literacy models are utilised by teaching librarians in their information literacy sessions, and to establish the levels of support teaching librarians receive from their institutions in developing pedagogical / theoretical knowledge that might improve their teaching.
It can be found at https://opinio.ucl.ac.uk/s?s=50590
All the data provided will be fully anonymised for the purposes of the research writing. It will be retained securely in line with UCL’s research data management policies.
There are 32 questions (all optional) many of which are simple tick box questions. The survey will take around 10-15 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers to any of the questions.
The survey will close on Wednesday 16 August at 6.00pm.
The research is being conducted as part of a dissertation for an MA in Library and Information Studies at UCL. The findings may be published as an article.
