Dear Daniele,
Ferns with revolute margins totheir pinules always seem to be Pteridium.
Best wishes,

Subject: unknown fern
In an archaeological site in Southern Corsica (Bronze age) some fragments of clay plaster with plant impressions were found. In the attached photograph (silicone mold) I would have identified some leaflets of fern. The leaf margins are curl over them. Could it be Cheilanthes sp. (cf. Cheilanthes guanchica)? What do you think? Thanks for your help. DA
