The Institute of Psychology is looking for an University Assistant with 
doctorate
(40 hours a week; fixed-term employment for the period of 6 years; 
position to be filled as of October 2nd 2017 )

Your duties
•    Collaborating with a team of researchers on experiments in the area 
of cognitive psychology and neuroscience
•    Independently conceiving and conducting projects using behavioural 
methods (e.g. eye tracking) and / or brain imaging techniques (e.g. fMRT 
or EEG)
•    Participation in academic teaching and administration
•    Advanced qualification (habilitation) will be supported.
•    Publishing papers, applying for research grants

Your profile
•    PhD (doctorate or promotion) in psychology or a similar field 
Experience in cognitive psychology and/or neuroscience research
•    Strong methodological and statistics background
•    Experience in writing and publishing papers
•    Programming skills (e.g. Matlab)
•    Persistence and responsibility
•    Enjoying experimental research
•    Organizational talent and ability to work in a team
•    Working knowledge of German
