Hello MCGers, I'm hoping you can help me. As a small charity we don't have a budget large enough to create our own animations, professional video or audio clips but would like to embed third party clips in our website if possible (or suitable).
At the moment we're focussing on landscape history and I'd like some interesting clips that help bring to life the era of Viking strongholds, Roman forts, Norman Castles, the bombardment of royalists by parliamentarians, World War One airfields, World War Two coastal batteries etc. Can anyone suggest a reliable, respected source for this sort of thing? In a previous life I managed the Woodland Trust's Nature's Calendar phenology project and we embedded BBC video clips of frogspawn developing, bluebells growing etc but the BBC website seems to have lost that functionality.
Does anyone have any suggestions for where to try for free or low-cost clips/animations apart from YouTube?
Thanks in advance.
