Hello everyone,
I struggle to use the FIR (finite impulse response) basis functions (one of the available HRF models). For the default values (3 functions, a total window of 15s) FSL does work. But when I try to change these values to 11 or 12 or 13 functions and a total window of 24s (with TR=2s), I always get the message:
"Problem with processing the model: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'NEWMAT::IndexException' Aborted".
I experience the same problem with most settings for scans with different TRs. If I understand it correctly, FIR should divide the total window (of the given length) into (number of basis functions) bins and calculate the mean activation for each bin. If the time series is long enough, this should be a straightforward procedure. Does anyone have experience with FIR in FSL and knows how it works?
Best,
Wiktor
