Research in statistics at Lancaster is focussed at the interface of methodology and application. The potential areas of research include Extremes, Time Series, Computational Statistics, High-dimensional and Functional Data Analysis, Robust Estimation in Finance, Statistical Learning, Medical and Social Statistics.
