National Records of Scotland are pleased to announce the launch of two tools aimed at assisting Scottish local authorities get started with digital preservation.
These guidance and capacity planning tools are the product of a 12 month project and are designed to assist local authority archivists and record managers assess their digital storage requirements and formulate a process for the permanent preservation of digital records.
The event is aimed at those currently working within Scottish local authorities, however other interested parties are also welcome to attend.
There are two dates for the launch event at different venues, to allow for wider participation.
