Those of you interested in women in film, documentary film or Eastern European cinema may want to check out this new website:  http://womenundercommunism.com/

I've created it as part of my Leverhulme Fellowship archive research project to promote the little known but incredibly talented women who made docs in Poland before 1989. It’s a huge, inspirational slice of female contribution to world cinema history, which has been somewhat forgotten.

The website is totally free to access (no passwords or publisher charges). Feel free to share.
