Please see below for details of a Senior Lecturer in Health Studies post at De Montfort University which may be of interest to public health/medical sociologists:
FACULTY OF HEALTH AND LIFE SCIENCES
School of Allied Health Sciences
Senior Lecturer in Health Studies
Part-time (0.8FTE), Fixed Term for 12 months (or until the return of the post holder, whichever is soonest)
Grade G: £37,075 - £46,924, pro-rata, per annum
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual required to join our expanding Health and Wellbeing in Society degree. You will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of subject areas such as: health care policy, social research methods, gender differences in health care and sociological aspects/theories of health and wellbeing and be prepared to be involved in interdisciplinary teaching. The applicant would be expected to engage with staff development to fully support and improve the experience of the students.
