I'm trying to find any recorded ICO view on consent to the sharing of GP records with other "Health and Social Care" services. A recent, unaddressed circular from a "Health and Social Care Organisations" officer suggests that in order to opt out , people will need to contact their GP.
Adding to the query is the fact that the circular was received through Royal Mail's unaddressed mail service and was sent to households not in the Organisation's catchment area.
Seems to have similarities to the previous attempt to gain access by deemed consent.
Any pointers?
Thanks in advance.
