Dear Sir or Madam

The Department wishes to undertake a peer review of an external study investigating the cost and potential for carbon abatement in UK air travel. The study entails assessing a range of abatement measures and policy levers in order to develop marginal abatement cost curves.

The Department is looking for interested experts in the field of aviation emissions who may wish to bid for the peer review. The workload is anticipated to amount approximately 46 hours and will take place between May and August 2017.

If you or someone you know is interested in bidding, please can you send me your contact details by close of play Monday the 15th of May 2017. People expressing interest will then be sent the formal specification of the requirement shortly afterwards.
