Hi,
just two short comments: one, creating a symmetrical template is
possible but may require a few steps in a certain order, see Didelot et
al., JNM 2010. And two, there is actually an option in
spm_shoot_defaults when using symmetrical priors, which may be a bit
more straightforward than fiddling with different deformation fields
post hoc.
