Dear All,
Sorry to bother you, I've gone through the archives to see if this issue was raised before and couldn't seem to find it, apologies if this was the case regardless. I've added some compressed images in the e-mail to clarify, please excuse the extra inbox room this takes up and delete the e-mail if not relevant to you.
I'm working in SPM 12 with a full factorial model, with 2 factors (2 and 3 level), and 19 participants. I want to add two covariates, but for some reason one of the two messes up the design matrix when I try to look at the results. I've narrowed the issue down to simply replacing the values in the same covariate in the batch editor, and with the one set of values it'll work perfectly, and with the other it'll garble after estimation. I've included images from both, as the list of values.
This works:
[cid:17ca0ba7-3791-4125-9b37-5702aa485a42][cid:a8c457e4-fe04-4a98-9105-8da1e22a862a]
However, if I only replace the values of the covariate the following happens:
[cid:570b3019-2650-486c-bd35-d1444e83d8df][cid:f9a40e20-5427-4562-be8f-4900ef33044f]
The covariate values are listed below, as the problem must in some way come from the values, because the rest does not change at all.
Anyone have any idea on why this is happening? In the end we would like to add both covariates simultaneously in the model but first I'd be happy if I could just the second one to not change the design matrix.
Kind regards and thanks in advance,
Guido Camps
