We're looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator for the Gatsby Plant
Science Education Programme, to coordinate the Science and Plants for
Schools (SAPS) project. Based at the University of Cambridge our
programme aims to increase participation and interest in plant science
in UK schools and universities, through online resources for students,
school and college teachers and support for education professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating events for
teachers and teacher trainers, commissioning marketing material,
maintaining the project website and teaching resouces (www.saps.org.uk),
preparing email campaigns and overseeing our social media channels.
The role holder will join a friendly team of four and will work
alongside a Project Manager to deliver elements of the SAPS project.
Candidates will need to be comfortable and confident representing the
programme to scientists, teachers and students from across the UK, with
excellent communication skills.
