Announced speakers:
• Edward Cheese (Conservator of Manuscripts and Printed Books at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge) will discuss approaches to the conservation of books as 3D mechanical objects. There will also be a short debate afterwards to discuss future care of dynamic objects with particular emphasis on rare books and ongoing care of the Nostell Priory clock.
Talks finish at 1830 after which refreshments, further debate and networking will be available in an adjacent gallery until doors close at 1930.
At 1930 there will be an excursion to see the Corpus Christi clock..
