We are North Essex Teacher training; a small SCITT provider (approx.. 30 secondary trainees) in Clacton on sea, working with schools in and around Colchester. 
 
We offer a secondary Post Graduate Certificate in Education 11-16 with post 16 enhancement. We have been operating for 25 years with a level 6 programme and have recently been successful in validating at level 7. 
 
We are looking for someone to support the new programme by externally moderating our 3 assignments as well as carrying out three visits per year. The first and second visits (January and May) both involve 2 days of observations of trainees’ teaching, meeting with SCITT staff and trainees and marking a sample of 5-6 assignments. The third visit is to attend the final Assessment Board in June.
We are looking for someone to work for a 4 year contract with the University of Suffolk.  £300 per year plus expenses.
