Dear colleagues,
at the recent IUAES Inter-Congress in Ottawa I presented a sub-field of our
discipline that I called Aural Anthropology, aiming to develop study and
research on sound in every aspect of anthropological interest,
independently or connected with the visual. If our initial group will
expand, as I hope, I intend to propose to the IUAES to form a new
Commission, so as to expand this field.
Anyone interested is warmly invited to contact me.
I enclose the text of my presentation.Thanks.
