Hi everyone,
I want to have a set of segmentation obtained by cat12 and FA images in exactly the same space.
I thought that the best way of achieving this would be as following:
1) coregister FA and T1
2) perform the cat12 segmentation outputting the deformation field
3) apply the deformation field from cat12 to the coregistered FA images
Of course the above workflow has the problem that 2 interpolations are performed on the FA images (to coregister to the T1 and then when applying the deformation field). One way to avoid this would be to save the affine matrix from step 1 and then composite it together with the deformation field from step 2 in order to apply this composite transform in one go to the FA images.
How can i do this ?
Specifically: how can I save the coregistration matrix in a format that will allow me to write a composite transform together with the deformation field ?
And how can I create the composite transform ?
