This is indeed a bug in r6906. Just be mindful that the bug fix is not
available in the current SPM12 version and you need to download the
fixed function here:
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=spm;2c0ae193.1611
until we release a new version of SPM.
