Just an additional thought in case its helpful.
On Siemens scanners, default interleaved acquisitions often (though this cannot be guaranteed) number according to the total number of slices.
If you have an odd number of slices (e.g. 33) you might have (1, 3, 5...33, 2, 4, 6....32)
For an even number of slices similarly (2, 4, 6...34, 1, 3, 5....33)
It is possible that during scanning someone exported a flat file with the actual slice order so you can check.
