Manchester Metropolitan University is urgently looking for a new External Examiner for the LLB (Hons) Hong Kong programme it awards, taught at Hong Kong University SPACE (hkuspace.hku.hk/prog/llb-mmu). The new External would be required to externally examine two Hong Kong legal subjects, namely Hong Kong Law of Evidence and Hong Kong Civil and Criminal Procedure on the LLB HK (Hons) degree.
The appointment is to start immediately and is initially for the remainder of the 2016-17 academic session, with duties to include external moderation of assignments/MCQs and examinations, attendance at the summer exam board at Manchester Law School on Friday 7th July ( if the successful candidate is based in the UK ) and completion of an annual report.
Previous external examining experience is preferred but not essential as you would have contact with the other external examiners in the Subject area.
NOTE: To maintain diversity in the Examining team, unfortunately we cannot accept applications for this role from staff at the following institutions: Leeds Beckett University, City University Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Lancaster University.
