Help the Ministry of Defence protect the security, independence and interests of our country at home and abroad. The Ministry of Defence are looking for graduates from a range of analytical backgrounds to join the team as Statistical Officers.
Our analytical team provide a ‘one stop shop’ for trusted statistics about Defence, they really do make statistics mean more. Whether you are using your statistical know how to improve the health of the Armed Forces; interpret the opinions of our personnel; reporting, forecasting and comparing the financial climate of the MOD and global economy; ensuring manpower planning, or helping to forecast the future of our country, you can guarantee a varied opportunity to develop your expertise.
If you want to join a highly creative environment and have effective team working experience, strong problem solving and communication skills, we want to hear from you. You should be highly motivated with the ability to analyse data effectively and present data to a wide range of people in different formats and platforms.
Please note that if offered a position outside MOD the salary will differ to the one being advertised.
We also have opportunities for Higher Statistical Officers to join us in our Andover and London offices. These posts attract a salary of £30,797-£32,035, and are available to those candidates who score exceptionally well.
