HLG CILIP Conference 2017 Prize Draw

CILIP Health Libraries Group has one full CILIP Conference ticket to give away to a lucky HLG member.

What’s on offer:
• A full ticket for the CILIP conference in Manchester covering both days (5th – 6th July) including lunch and refreshments
• One nights’ accommodation at Motel One on Wednesday 5th July
• One ticket to the evening reception at MOSI on Wednesday 5th July
• Up to £200 travel expenses

The CILIP Conference brings together 600 library and information professionals for two days of knowledge sharing, discussion, debate and networking opportunities. The conference aims to leave you feeling inspired and passionate about the work that we do as a profession.

This year’s programme focuses on the key areas impacting our profession; from technology to policy, and social justice to learning. These sessions will sit alongside a dedicated strand focusing on “Your Career” which will offer help, advance and the tools you need for all stages of your career, and a brand new strand – the “Creative Hub” – working with Manchester Library Services.

How to enter:

The Prize Draw is open to any HLG member. The winner will be picked at random from all valid received entries received prior to the deadline of 5pm on Friday 7th April 2017.

There are two distinct ways to enter, and HLG members can submit one entry.

Method 1 – via Twitter

Send a tweet to @CILIPHLG in less than 140 characters saying why you would like to attend #CILIPConf17 and remember to include #HLGbursary for your entry to count!

One entry will be accepted per twitter account. All entries will be checked for validity to ensure that the entrant is a current HLG member. The chosen winner will need to confirm that they are able to attend and will comply with the HLG terms and conditions prior to confirmation of the award

Method 2 – using the online form

Complete your details on the online form at http://bit.ly/HLGBursary , including a brief statement of less than 140 characters saying why you would like to attend #CILIPConf17

Terms & Conditions

The lucky winner will be selected at random from all entries received via twitter or through the online form. The selected name will need to confirm that they are able to attend and will comply with the HLG terms and conditions prior to confirmation of the award.

The lucky winner will be asked to actively share their #CILIPConf2017 Conference experience, before during and after the event (i.e. tweet, blog, etc. so that any members that cannot attend can follow the event or read about it after the event). The winner will also be requested to write a brief conference report for publication within the HLG newsletter.

The prize is non-transferable and the ticket can only be used by the prize recipient.
